Description
MONOLITH is a structured and deeply expressive Catimor from Việt Nam’s Central Highlands, shaped by volcanic soil, highland cultivation, and meticulous washed processing. Its name reflects the coffee itself: grounded, enduring, and defined by a quiet strength rather than excess.
The washed process brings remarkable clarity to the cup, allowing the character of the Catimor and its growing environment to come forward. Brown sugar sweetness and bright citrus zest open the profile, followed by roasted almond and dark chocolate that build richness and depth. The result is balanced and composed, with enough acidity to keep the cup lively while maintaining the grounded character that defines MONOLITH.
As the coffee cools, its sweetness becomes more pronounced and the chocolate and nut tones deepen, leading into a clean, lingering finish with a subtle earthiness. The lighter roast preserves the coffee’s natural complexity rather than masking it with roast character, creating a cup that is approachable yet layered enough to reveal something new as it develops.
MONOLITH represents the evolving identity of Vietnamese specialty coffee: precise, terroir-driven, and capable of far greater nuance than the traditional expectations placed on coffee from Việt Nam. Grown, processed, and roasted at origin, it is an expression of both the Central Highlands and the people whose craft carries the coffee from cultivation through the final roast.
